The Foundation of KV CWS Jayant was kept in September 1987, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Prakash Nandan(CGM CWS Jayant) & Principal Mr. H.N.Rai in a small building. The School started with only five classes(I-V) with all new admission cases and team of only six worthy teachers |

School was shifted in a New and permanent building, with latest infrastructure provided by NCL (Northern Coal fileds Limited ) under project sector. |

Commerce stream was introduced with the great demand of NCL employees & local local parents in addition to Science and Humanities already in existance. |

Five additional sections in primary wing were opened on demand of the local parents and the seats were filled up successfully as per KVS Norms. |
